Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for using Casebird Tracker.
What Casebird is
Casebird Tracker (“Casebird”, “we”) checks the public USCIS Case Status service for the receipt numbers you add and notifies you of changes. It also offers general guides, news and processing-time estimates. Casebird is an independent service and is not affiliated with USCIS or the U.S. government.
Not legal advice
Everything in Casebird — status explanations, guides, estimates and Assistant answers — is general information, not legal advice, and does not create an attorney–client relationship. Immigration cases differ; for decisions about your case consult a licensed attorney or a DOJ-accredited representative. USCIS maintains a list of free and low-cost legal services.
Accuracy
Status information comes from USCIS and may be delayed, incomplete or changed by USCIS without notice. Processing-time estimates are based on historical and community data and are not guarantees. Always rely on official USCIS notices for deadlines.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old and sign in with Apple or Google.
- Only add receipt numbers for cases that are yours or that you are authorized to follow (for example a family member who agreed, or a client who consented to your Pro account).
- Do not use Casebird to scrape, resell or bulk-query USCIS data, or to interfere with the service.
Free and paid plans
Status tracking, alerts and Guides are free. Plus, Family and Pro are optional subscriptions billed through the App Store or Google Play under their terms; prices are shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Pro accounts
If you use Casebird on behalf of clients, you are responsible for obtaining each client's consent, for the accuracy of what you enter, and for complying with your professional obligations.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.
Liability
Casebird is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for missed deadlines, decisions made based on information in the app, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be announced in the app. Questions: support@casebirdtracker.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
